Who We're Looking For

The packaging team is looking for a Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team in Bellevue, WA. We're looking for someone with a can-do attitude who is comfortable wearing multiple hats to ensure smooth integration of sales, marketing, and logistics activities. Experience in logistics is not mandatory, but prior international experience working with teams in Asia is preferred.

Logistics Job Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and communicate with suppliers, customs brokers, truckers, and customers to ensure timely acquisition and delivery of import and export shipments.
  • Document shipments to ensure that they are in compliance with Customs rules and regulations as well as customer requirements.
  • Meet and communicate regularly with clients to review their requirements and to give updates on pending orders.
  • Coordinate purchases including purchase order issuance.
  • Create invoices and follow up on payment receipts.
  • Manage and audit physical inventories at a third-party warehouse.
  • Act with customers in mind and value the importance of providing high-quality customer service.
  • Takes initiative by willingly taking on new challenges and seeking opportunities.

Sales Job Responsibilities

  • Help maintain existing client relationships while helping to create and build new relationships.
  • Provide sales and administrative support through various office duties, such as handling sales inquiries and orders by phone or email, managing calendars, scheduling site visits, etc.
  • Support the sales team in attaining sales targets. Assist in developing and implementing sales strategy and support all sales and marketing activities as needed.
  • Create and distribute sales support materials, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as needed.
  • Help increase sales and leads by preparing and attending trade shows; introduce our products and services to attendees.
  • Develop and maintain filing systems related to sales programs, marketing and special event communications; ensure they are available for future reference.
  • Conduct research to stay informed of industry trends, competitors, new product and service offerings.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Possess strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
  • Maintain a reputation for honesty, confidentiality, reliability, and fairness.
  • Collaborate positively to achieve team and company objectives.
  • Show a high degree of professionalism – competent, credible, and knowledgeable.
  • Possess high level of personal initiative.
  • Be proficient in MS Word and Excel.

Preferred

  • Associate Degree
  • 1-2 years of professional experience
  • Fluent in Korean
  • Have international work experience or working with teams in Asia
